Navigational Controls (these instructions are also within the demo itself under "Help")
Moving Through The Exhibition
Directional Arrows- Use the directional arrows on your keyboard to move through the exhibition.
Mouse- Moving the mouse over paintings, sculptures and plaques will provide brief information about each piece or period of art.
Map- The map will identify your location at any moment. Click on any room on the map to go directly to that room or use the drop down menus to go directly to a piece or a room.
The Eye- Click on the Eye to change the perspective of the exhibit.
Shift Key & Arrows- Press the Shift Key while using the directional arrows to look up and down or to move sideways.
Paintings & Sculptures- Use the mouse to click on paintings and sculptures for more information about the work of art, to see paintings in greater detail, and to move sculptures around in 3D. Click and drag on a sculpture in the Gallery to rotate it.
Interacting with a Painting
Click and drag your mouse on any area of a painting to pick squares of detail that you would like to zoom into. Or, use the +/- keys to zoom in/out. Use the directional arrows to move to other areas of the painting and the 'C' key to center your selection.
Click any of the buttons to get additional information about the artist and their work, such as audio, video, biographies, other works, and links to relevant prints and books.
To view a different work of art in the viewer (and move to it in the gallery); select its name from the menu.
Click an area on the Map or select it from the room menu to go directly there. Click the 'Gallery' button or the Map to return to the exhibition room.
Interacting with a Sculpture
To move the sculpture around in 3D, click and drag on it with your mouse or use the arrow keys on your keyboard. Press the 'C' key to return it to its original position.
Click any of the buttons to get additional information about the artist and their work, such as audio, video, biographies, other works, and links to relevant prints and books.
To view a different work of art in the viewer (and move to it in the gallery); select its name from the menu.
Click an area on the Map or select it from the room menu to go directly there. Click the 'Gallery' button or the Map to return to the exhibition room.
