Pulse Player Installation Instructions

Windows
  1. Make sure you have Administrator access on your computer.
  2. Open up a page with Pulse content, and the plug-in installation will automatically begin.
  3. Alternatively, you can choosse to download and run the stand-alone installer. To do so, Click Here, and save and run the player5_2win.exe file.
Macintosh
  1. Make sure you have Administrator access on your computer.
  2. Click Here to download the Pulse Player stand-alone Installer (PulsePlayer5.2MacX.hqx).
  3. Decompress and run the Installer.
  4. Select the Netscape 7.0x or 6.0x folder on your hard drive, when prompted during the installation.
Note: If you do not have a supported version of Netscape for your Mac, you must first download version 7.0 from Netscape by Clicking Here.

  • Mac G3/350MHz, 128MB RAM
  • 1024 x 768 Resolution (can be designed for 800 x 600 as well)

Pulse Player also supports 3D hardware acceleration:
  • Microsoft Windows Platforms equipped with Direct3D hardware acceleration
  • Apple Macintosh systems equipped with OpenGL v1.2 3D hardware acceleration
Ideal PC/MAC Settings
  • 1280 x 1024 Resolution
  • 3D Graphics Card (To make sure it is being used, you can right click on the demo content and check "Use 3D Hardware when the content requests it" under "Settings"
  • 64MB Video RAM
